Visit us!Our Members meetings are open to the public and are usually held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 4600 Manchaca (or Menchaca historically) Road, Austin, TX 78745. Visitors and newcomers are always welcome! Y'all come join us.
Most meetings feature:
- a review of the past month's 'Lost and Found' and other activities
- announcement of upcoming events
- a guest presenter on a topic of interest to the detectorist
- the opportunity to show off your finds and to see those of others
- a drawing for visitors to receive a silver coin
- a drawing for Members to receive a silver coin
- a 'Find of the Month' contest with coin prizes in each of ten categories
- a raffle for silver coins and other items of value
- lots of upbeat camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts

January 8, 2026: AMDC Members meeting with 'Best find Show amd Tell'. Charles will have a new cache clue and divulge the location of the Members Only Hunt that will be held on Saturday.
January 10, 2026: Members Only Hunt at a site to be announced at the Members meeting Thursday.
January 30-February 1, 2026: Florida Hunt 11 by Soldiers Freedom Outdoors Inc at Melrose, FL
February 5, 2026: AMDC Members meeting will feature the "Annual Lights Out, Lights On Hunts", so bring your detectors and a strong flashlight or headlamp, but leave your digger at home. The first part of the meeting will be the hunt, so come early or you'll miss some of the fun.
